For patients

Care for the person going through it.

Iso Mind & Wellness offers telehealth psychiatric care for adults living with cancer, at any point from the first days after diagnosis through active treatment and into survivorship, anywhere in Florida. Whether it is the wait before a scan, sleep that will not come, or a mood that has not lifted since the diagnosis, this is care built for exactly that.

You should not have to teach your mental-health provider about your treatment before you can talk about how you are actually doing. Here, you will not have to.

What we help with

The things cancer brings with it.

Not every hard day needs treatment. But when it stops lifting, or starts getting in the way of your care, this is what we work on together.

Anxiety and worry

Including the wait before scans and results, fear of recurrence, and the constant background hum that never quite switches off.

Low mood and depression

Sadness, flatness, or losing interest in the things that used to matter, whether it started with the diagnosis or was there before.

Sleep

Trouble falling or staying asleep, night-time worry, and the exhaustion that follows you into treatment days.

Adjusting to a diagnosis

The first weeks after hearing the news, and every new turn after that: a change in treatment, a new decision, a new normal.

Mood and medications

Sorting out how steroids, hormone therapy, pain medicines, and other treatments interact with your mood, and prescribing carefully around them.

Life after treatment

Survivorship brings its own weight: expectations to feel grateful, a body that feels different, and a future that feels less certain.

“A cancer diagnosis reshapes everything: sleep, mood, relationships, and the plain work of getting through the day. Our practice exists to meet that reality directly, with real clinical expertise and without the wait.”

Your first visit

What to expect.

1. A real conversation

Your first visit is unhurried. You talk about your diagnosis, your treatment, and how you are actually doing. There is no form to perform for.

2. The whole picture

Because Jheanelle is certified in both psychiatric and family practice, she reads your regimen and symptom burden alongside your mental health.

3. A plan you understand

You leave with a clear plan, whether that means medication, supportive care, coordination with your oncology team, or simply a next appointment.

The practical parts

Insurance, location, and getting ready.

Insurance and cost

Booking and billing run through Headway, which checks your insurance before your first visit so you know your cost up front. Jheanelle is in network through Headway with Aetna, Cigna, Carelon, Ascension, and more. Most visits are covered.

Where you need to be

Visits are secure video sessions. You can join from home, from a hospital room, or from an infusion chair, but you need to be physically located in Florida at the time of your appointment.

How to prepare

  • A quiet spot and a phone, tablet, or computer with a camera.
  • Your current medication list, including cancer treatments and anything over the counter.
  • The name of your oncology team, in case we need to coordinate.
  • Anything you want to make sure gets said. Writing it down helps.

Not sure this is for you?

Many people wait because they think it “isn’t bad enough.” If it has been on your mind, that is reason enough to book a first conversation. If you have questions before you do, call us at (954) 440-5077.
